Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Catania and welcome
Arrival at Catania airport. Transfer to the hotel and time to settle in. In the evening, welcome dinner at an authentic local restaurant with Nicolas and Nunzio, where you will begin to immerse yourself in Sicilian culture.
Day 2 - Catania and the market
Explore vibrant Catania, with its famous fish market 'La Pescheria', the imposing Piazza Duomo, and lively Via Etnea. Enjoy a morning street food tour and free time to explore.
Day 3 - Mount Etna Excursion
A full day dedicated to Europe's most active volcano. Ascent up to 2,500 meters, walk through craters and lunar landscapes. Lunch at a mountain refuge and visit to a boutique winery to taste the famous Etna DOC wines.
Day 4 - Taormina and Castelmola
Discover the 'pearl of the Ionian', Taormina. Visit the majestic Greek Theatre with views of Etna, walk along Corso Umberto, and enjoy the chic atmosphere of the city. In the afternoon, go up to Castelmola to watch the sunset with panoramic views.
Day 5 - Syracuse and Ortigia
Explore historic Syracuse, ancient rival of Athens. Visit the Archaeological Park with its Greek theatre and the impressive 'Ear of Dionysius'. Cross to the island of Ortigia and stroll through its baroque streets by the sea.
Day 6 - Noto, Ragusa Ibla and Modica
Day dedicated to Sicilian Baroque. Visit Noto, the capital of Baroque, with its famous staircase. Continue to Ragusa Ibla, a labyrinth of alleys and palaces. End in Modica, known for its traditional chocolate.
Day 7 - Farewell and return
Last Sicilian breakfast. Free time for shopping or to visit a pending place before the transfer to Catania airport. End of an unforgettable experience.
